Troubleshooting Loupe Server Installation Print
Modified on: Thu, Jul 17, 2014 at 7:31 PM
Loupe Server is only supported with IIS 7 and later. It can be used on Windows 2008, 2008 R2, and 2012.. You can also run Loupe Server on Vista and Windows 7 & 8, however this may violate the license agreements for those operating systems.
To install Loupe Server, you need to be sure you've done the following:
- IIS 7 Must already be installed.
- .NET 4.0 Must already be installed
- Under World Wide Web Services go into Application Development Features and make sure ASP.NET is checked.
Verifying Installation - Before Accessing the Server
Be sure to complete the initial setup with the Loupe Server Administrator. This is automatically started at the end of the installation. You should see the licensing dialog pop up to allow you to enter your trial or permanent license key and then the server administrator should start. The first time the server administrator runs it will run a wizard to perform all of the first time configuration steps.
Verifying Installation - After Initial Configuration
Once the server has completed configuration it will test both the web site and the windows service status and display warnings if either are unavailable.
